Quick reupholstering job.
I am not sure you can call this a full upholstering job but I wanted to show you the upholstering tack strips that I used.
I had this little side chair for quite a while and it had seen better days so I thought I would try a little something!

I thought it would be cute to use two different fabrics so I bought the royal blue velvet and a floral print from Hobby Lobby.

If you have ever tried to attach the tacks to a piece of furniture you know how hard it is to keep them straight, I have used little tools and still couldn’t get them in line!

These strips make the job a lot easier, it’s still not perfect and by far not a full-blown reupholster job but it turned out cute and matches colors I am using right now.

Sometimes we just have to jump right in, even if we might not feel comfortable with a certain task, and who knows, we might be totally surprised! Look around and see if you have an item that could use a little Something!!!
